NetDocuments reports unprecedented adoption of its cloud-based DMS across APAC
Sydney, Australia – August 11, 2016 – NetDocuments, the leading Software-as-a-Service document and email management (DMS) provider for law firms and corporate legal departments, announced continued rapid growth in Australia and across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region with leading firms Mills Oakley and Minter Ellison SA/NT, as well as boutique firms Hive Legal and Polczynski Lawyers, all selecting NetDocuments’ modern cloud platform for document and email management.
The new customer announcements come only a month after top-tier Australian firm Gilbert + Tobin selected NetDocuments to replace its on-premises system. And earlier this year, top 10 Australian firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth successfully converted to NetDocuments with over 1,000 legal professionals now using both the core DMS service as well as NetDocuments EM (formerly Decisiv Email), its predictive email filing solution.
Speaking about the NetDocuments selection and implementation, Berys Amor, Corrs IT Director, commented: “Corrs was the first large Australian law firm to migrate to NetDocuments. The innovation and leadership from NetDocuments in the legal DMS space was apparent during the selection process, and now that we’ve successfully implemented the cloud-based service across our firm, we’re seeing the tangible value both from a security and compliance standpoint, and also from a usability and productivity perspective as well. The successful transition and user adoption highlights the maturity and modernity of the NetDocuments service. It is a platform that works well with the firm’s IT strategy and will enable us to meet our clients’ needs and take our firm into the future.”
As the regional customer base rapidly expands across APAC, NetDocuments continues to invest in its people and infrastructure. Most recently, Martin Horton, formerly of BigHand, has joined the NetDocuments Sydney-based team as its regional support manager. Paul Wyatt, APAC Sales Director at NetDocuments, stated, “We’re thrilled to see the unprecedented growth across the region with leading firms eager to leverage the value of a native cloud-based service. And as a service-based company, we take great pride in the level of support we continually provide to our customer base – Martin is a great addition and we’re fortunate to have him and his team supporting the APAC region.”
“We have demonstrated a strong commitment to the Australian market by being the first document management solution with datacentres in Australia,” stated NetDocuments CEO Matt Duncan. “Our belief in the region and its innovative firms is paying off as overall demand for NetDocuments is at an all-time high.”
As part of its global event schedule, NetDocuments will be holding several executive technology briefings in October at select customer locations across Sydney and Melbourne.
